History
The German Health Economics Association e.V. (dggö) was founded on October 17, 2008 by 17 university professors.
The German Health Economics Association e.V. (dggö) aims to foster science, research and scientific policy advice in the field of health economics. Its activities also include the organization of scientific events and research projects as well as the awarding of prizes and awards. In particular, an annual scientific conference is held every spring.
The dggö's mission is to disseminatehealth economic findings to the public and to represent them in parliaments and governments.
dggö maintains relationships with relevant foreign and international health economic associations.
