Goals
"Who" is the Care and Remuneration Committee?
The Care and Remuneration Committee of the dggö consists of academics and practitioners. The service providers are represented, as are payers, economists, and health care researchers. In general, anyone interested in the further development of care and related reimbursement issues is cordially invited to participate.
What is the goal?
The goal is to identify problems in care provision, identify specific issues, and make a constructive contribution to addressing them. The results should not only enrich the discussion within the dggö, but also be communicated to the general professional community. This should foster a lively exchange between academia and practice, which ideally leads to addressing practice-relevant research questions and quickly making practice-relevant research results accessible to the relevant decision-makers.
How should this goal be achieved?
The key advantages of the committee are that, in an interdisciplinary setting, small groups can work on issues in a focused manner. Specifically, the aim is to hold one or two workshops per year, in addition to a meeting on the sidelines of the annual conference, during which the substantive work is carried out. In consultation with the members, the committee chair formulates a core theme, which is then addressed, for example, in the form of keynote speeches and discussions. The time between workshops should be used to address raised questions, for example, in the form of short thesis papers or case studies.
Membership
Any member of the German Society of Occupational Health (DGGÖ) can become a member of the committee. A specific research focus on inpatient care is not required. Interested candidates from practice and other research areas are welcome. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Committee on Care and Remuneration, please contact one of the chairs.
Membership ends at the member's request or if the member fails to attend three consecutive meetings.
