DIBOGS Workshop for Young Scientists
The Committee for Young Researchers will meet from November 2nd to 3rd at the Joachim Herz Foundation in Hamburg for the annual DIBOGS workshop. This proven format offers the opportunity to discuss your own research ideas and work and to meet other young researchers in the field of health economics. Participation is free of charge. Further information and registration details can be found here.
Our host this year, the Joachim Herz Foundation, is awarding the 2018 German Business Prize for work in the field of health economics. The application deadline for the "Best Contributions by Young Researchers" category is October 10, 2017. Applications can be submitted online via this link.
Goals
The dggö's junior research group was established on March 26, 2012, at the annual conference in Konstanz. The group currently comprises approximately 50 members. The goal of the dggö's junior research group is to promote networking and exchange between students and recent graduates in health economics and related disciplines working in academia and the private sector.
The focus is to promote the exchange of knowledge, methods, and current developments within this group—across educational locations—and to deepen personal contacts. This takes place both continuously via an online platform (XING) and through annual, in-person meetings.
Membership
All members of the dggö who consider themselves junior researchers, are still studying, or are at the beginning of their academic or professional careers are welcome. If you are interested in participating in the group or have any questions, please send an email to the chair.
