This vacant position is fully funded through the excellence strategy of the German National Science Foundation (DFG) and will be integrated in the global health research group under the supervision of Dr. Michael Stolpe. The group cooperates closely with leading medical researchers in the DFG Cluster of Excellence “Precision Medicine in Chronic Inflammation.” The global health research group will develop novel economic models of medical decision making for chronic diseases, test and calibrate the models using large data sets and then use the models to develop evidence-based policy advice for national and international decision makers in health policy and healthcare management. Thus, excellent quantitative analytical and statistical as well as communication skills are required.
