The Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW; www.ifw-kiel.de) seeks a a Postdoctoral Researcher (full-time) in Economics and Global Health. This vacant position will be integrated in the global health research group led by Dr. Michael Stolpe. The group cooperates closely with leading medical researchers in the DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence “Precision Medicine in Chronic Inflammation” and two Leibniz Research Alliances on “Infections in an Urbanizing World” and “Resilient Ageing.” The global health research group is currently expanding its scope with a particular focus on non-communicable and chronic diseases, health inequalities and digital health services and develops novel methods for economic evaluations of health technologies and services. The research will make use of large datasets to test and calibrate empirical models with the aim to generate evidence-based policy advice for national and international decision makers in health policy and healthcare management.
