Conference Fund for Young Scientists

§ 1 The German Health Economics Association promotes the presence of of young scientists from the field of health economics at prestigious international conferences. Funding of up to 500 € is available upon application for presentations.

§ 2 Members of dggö who are working at a university in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, or are doing an external doctorate thesis and receive a remuneration that does not exceed that of a TVL-14 or W1 position entitled to receive a funding. The last qualification level acquired (master's degree, doctorate, appointment to junior professorship) should not be longer than 6 years ago.

§ 3 Applications may be submitted as soon as the invitation to the presentation has been formally issued and provided that the applicant has not received a funding in the current year or for the same presentation in another year. Applications for a funding should include a curriculum vitae as well as a confirmation of the invitation to speakers should be submitted in advance of the conference. In justified exceptional cases, an application submitted later may also be considered. The applications are approved by decision of the executive board of dggö.

Application submission deadlines are October 30 and April 30.
