ZEW Mannheim, Germany is one of the leading economic research institutes in Europe. The ZEW is a non-profit organization and works in the field of frontier empirical economic research and high-level policy advice. It is integrated into an extensive national and international network of universities and research institutes. The ZEW is looking to fill the following position in our Research Group “Health Care Markets and Health Policy”. We seek to hire an applied economist specializing on empirical research in the field of Health Economics. The group covers a wide range of topics, focussing on the supply and reimbursement of traditional health care services as well as digital health tools. The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of health economics and quantitative evaluation methods in particular quasi-experimental methods for administrative data. Experience in planning, conducting and evaluating experimental studies (clinical, lab and field interventions) is a plus.
